The Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel
Welcome to the Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel which can only be described as “elegance on sea”. The hotel is a true beachfront hotel located on a long white sandy beach, in the heart of the platinum West Coast in the parish of St James on the gorgeous Island of Barbados.
This elegant retreat has 72 Oceanfront Junior suite rooms, which are probably the closest rooms to the beach, in the whole of Barbados.A sight to behold every morning, every day and every sunset! Additionally there is also a 3 bedroom villa for larger parties, which is set slightly further back from the beach and closer to the swimming pool.
The Fairmont Royal Pavilion has been described by some as “The Jewel in the Crown of Barbados” and is built in a Moorish style with its distinctive towers, courtyards, 2 great oceanfront restaurants, and it’s exterior walls painted in what has become its trademark pink. In high season the hotel has a couples or adult only policy, but families with children are welcomed during the summer months from May – October.
The hotel has a distinct english feel about it and complimentary afternoon tea is still served to resident guests in the stunning, palm filled Palm terrace over looking the sea. The staff are all well trained, as is the Fairmont way, and only too willing to look after you and meet any request to further the enjoyment of your holiday.
The Hotel has an excellent oceanfront fine dining restaurant that is open for dinner, where on most nights entertainment is provided and many guests relax with a night cap in the lounge adjoining. There is a second oceanfront restaurant called “Tabora’s” named after the legendary late Fernando Tabora who designed the fabulous gardens at the Royal Pavilion as well as world class gardens all over the world. Tabora’s is great for breakfast and lunch.
The hotel offers complimentary watersports and 2 floodlight tennis courts and a fitness room for those who like to be active.
There are also meeting facilities for small groups and arrangements with Golfing partners at the Islands premier golf courses.
The Fairmont Royal Pavilion is a 40 minute drive from the Grantley Adams international airport, 20 minutes from Bridgetown the capital and 5 minutes away from Holetown where there is a large choice of Duty free shopping, popular bars and restaurants.
